Avec la nouvelle réglementation qui est entrée en vigueur le 1er avril 2022 , la FACCQ s’assure d’offrir plusieurs options pour les entrepreneurs qui sont membres de ses associations régionales (ACRY, ACST, CECQ, CESGM) en matière de formation continue obligatoire décrétée par la RBQ.

La formation  ‘‘APPROFONDIR SON EXPERTISE EN STRUCTURE DE BOIS’‘, d’une durée de  5 heures,  est un atout important pour perfectionner et approfondir les connaissances des entrepreneurs en ce qui a trait à l’érection de  bâtiments  à de bois,  d’en maitriser les techniques nécessaires afin de:

Distinguer les notions et termes relatifs aux charpentes de bois;

• • • Exécuter les travaux par des méthodes de travail adéquates;
    • Identifier les différentes structures de bois sur les différents types de plans;
    • Interpréter adéquatement les sections et sous-sections du Code de construction traitant les bâtiments à ossature de bois;
    • Identifier les avantages d’une construction en ossature de bois.

Au terme de la formation, les entrepreneurs auront développé une meilleure compréhension des éléments techniques des structures et éléments de maçonnerie, et seront en mesure de prendre les bonnes décisions dans la gestion quotidienne des activités sur le chantier

With the new regulations coming into force on April 1, 2022, the FACCQ offers several options for contractors who are members of its regional associations (ACRY, ACST, CECQ, CESGM) in terms of mandatory continuing education decreed by the RBQ.

The 5-hour »DEEPEN EXPERTISE IN WOOD STRUCTURE » training course is an important asset for perfecting and deepening the knowledge of contractors in the erection of wood buildings, and mastering the techniques required to:

Distinguish between notions and terms related to timber framing;

• Carry out work using appropriate work methods;
• Identify different wood structures on different types of plans;
• Correctly interpret the sections and subsections of the Construction Code dealing with wood-frame buildings;
• Identify the advantages of wood-frame construction.

At the end of the training, contractors will have developed a better understanding of the technical elements of structures and masonry elements, and will be in a position to make the right decisions in the day-to-day management of site activities.
